CLOSING SCHOOLS

                                                      CLOSING SCHOOLS!!!!

                             Thier are 11 high schools four middles schools 22 elementary schools closing. do u think thats fair?

                  Well i gues mayor micheal nutter and school district superintendent William R. Hite Jr agrees with closing schools. they make lot of excuses why they should close schoools.

                    Some of the reasons they want to close down all of these schools is because they think they will save money. also they think it will make for a better learning enviroment.

                     Mr. hite stated "all closing decisions were made with a goal-boosting academics throughout the district and ensuring its long term financial viabilty"

                     I just dont undewr stand how is closing and combining schools are going to reach this goal. just think bout it if they close down schools and combine them thier are going to be two times the fight. and the classes are going to be over crowed that makes it harder for the teachers to teach. it will be so many discrations.

                     If u ask any student what they think about this situation they will 9/10 w. Dontlike it. for students like me i like to learn in little crowds of people and i feel as though you learn way better that way you learn better this way cause its not that many people around and its very few discrations and you can focus alot better.

                    In the article they try to make it seem like a good chocie they are making for all of the schools when its really not its just going to cost so much trouble it like putting adding fuel to the firer. but the district never see it from the kids point of view we are the ones who has to live with it not them.
